John was a good friend in high school and I am sad not to have reconnected with him again before his passing. John and I used to make "old man sour faces" at one of the bus drivers we called Mr. lemon. mr. Duncan, Vice Principal. Took us into his office for a serious reprimand, which only made John and I laugh!
Oh John, You always made it fun for us waiting for the bus at the La Verne side of Claremont. I hope that you will be making trouble and smiles for eveyone in heaven.
John called me several years ago, asking if I remembered him. Who forgets their senior prom date!? I remember our long talks walking home senior year and through the summer. I wonder if he still loved classical music and Ben Hur. Maybe there are chariot races in heaven. Peace to his wife and all who knew him.
John lost his battle with cancer on April 19, 2014.
